Okay, here goes… I am going to post things that I never thought I would about myself. Hahaha, just not the pictures. I may share those on my Facebook group, but I still have to work up that courage! For full disclosure, the data presented below come from the following days of this process:
Initial weights, measurements, blood pressure and pulse – Day 0 (after evening meal)
Final weights and measurements – Day 32 (this morning)
Initial blood work – Day -6 (before vacation)
Final blood work – Day 29 (Wednesday morning)
Final blood pressure and pulse – Day 29-30 (Wednesday average)
What I did: 6.5 days water only fasting, followed by slow reintroduction of real food items (no preservatives, GMO, etc), with some poor decisions thrown in for good measure. I started the introductions with intermittent fasting utilizing an eating period of ~8 hours and a fasting period of ~16 hours. This continued for ~10 days. For the next ~15 days, I mixed in a couple of longer fasts in addition to the 16/8 pattern, the longest of which I’m breaking soon, and that was ~58 hours at the time of the final weights and measurements (will be ~62 hours when I break it). The other four were 24-40 hours fasting.
